To cross the ocean between England and Ireland, we had to take a ship in Liverpool.
I had the sensation that Liverpool is a mixture between an old industrial part, where the young generation appropriated the space, creating several areas with different utilities, such as: skateboarding areas, start ups, small restaurants, bars and clubs. But also more traditional suburbs, where old chaps meet in pubs, the british cozy life. Great city !
With the car ready our trip started, we would drive from south Germany, crossing Belgium, Holand and France to get in London.
But we didn't know exactly how long time it would take, because the car could only drive 70km/h, which is really slow compare to a normal car. And also if the car was in good conditions to drive such long way. But we took the risk and expected the best!
We all way was really exciting, people were taking pictures of the car and speaking to us, like we just came by from Woodstock. And the car was driving like it would never let us down! it gave us the feeling that we were doing the best and the right thing for us.
The travel to London took 3 days, stopping to sleep for two nights. However, one of our stops was in Belgium, in a really beautiful city called Bruges, a city that looked like a old memory, if you are just passing by, but if you take a long walk inside, you observe that the city is full of young students, cool bars and different cultures! Such a joy!
This is how the car looks now after our crazy makeover project!
Our travel could start at any moment!
After many, many days searching we finally found the best trailer.
It was a old school ambulance from 1971!
And for our luck, it has been maintained really well by the last owner.
And had good conditions to stand long travels.
It was a perfect car!
In a great moment of ideas we decided that everything that we love could be possible: Design, Travel, Music, Fun, Beauty, Friends, everything would be placed inside a box that we would call our travel car!
Yes! We decided that living inside a mobile home would gives us amazing experiences. We would design our products, and sell it in the capitals of Europe, visit our friends in different cities, and it would bring such joy of having contact with different people, artists and musicians. It was simply the best way of making everything that we love the most accessible.
We're enormous exciting about everything! Even that it took a lot of strength, the pleasure of experiencing this style of life will worth all the hard work!
